Audrey, from Elsebeth Lavold’s Book #4 The Sophisticated Lady Collection was designed to be knit flat. While I prefer circular knitting, I was not deterred. I used and liked the Silky Tweed yarn.

After completing one half, it seemed a disagreeable chore to have to repeat it all for the second half. Knitting in pairs is tiresome! Maybe that’s why I don’t much care for knitting socks.

There was some scritchiness in obtaining the right length for the shoulder straps. And there was one error in the lacy leaf stitch pattern but that was easily remedied once I found the online errata page.
