Phoebe had a trip to the vet’s. The abscess has healed well over the
last two weeks. She had the staples taken out from the removal of a
cyst, and she had her vaccinations. Giving her the antibiotic was
not too much trouble. The cats are hugely fond of Temptations cat
treats. I made sure to give her Temptations right after the medicine,
hoping that would help.

Phoebe did manage to sneak outside three or four times during the
last couple weeks of her recovery. Luckily, that didn’t affect her
badly and she would let me bring her back in within a reasonable
amount of time. So she’s been less active and she’s had continual
access to food. She weighed in at the vet’s two ounces heavier.
