My latest hat used up some yarn which, for a long while, I had no idea what to do with. The yarn is K1C2 Angora Soft. I was dabbling in some basic slip stitch patterns from my blue Barbara Walker book, seeking ones where every odd row is purled. That way I could knit circularly and avoid pestiferous purling! That lighter color is a very pale blue. I wouldn’t reckon those colors go together particularly. Yet that’s what I had handy and I needed two colors to try out the patterns. All this time, and I’ve finally learned that I like this yarn. I think it works well, doubled as it were, two colors thick. I randomly knit and then I had a hat. And it’s a friendly hat, comfy, soft, right away wearable.
