Kim, with Oliver snuggling nearby
Christmas came and went before I knew it. My chronically dark scowl was interrupted with little bits of cheer which, I confess, were dear! I had to take some pleasure in seeing my sister donned all at once in several knits I’d made for her over the last couple years. Her latest hat is the Meret beret by Woolly Wormhead, knitted in Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride. It is the generously-sized ‘extra slouchy’ version and how decent that this yarn has copious yardage in one skein. The color is Victorian Pink and, while the yarn was from stash and not originally selected for my sister, I think it suits her rather well. Isn’t she winsome in her woolens?! Happy New Year to one and all.

Happy New Year to you too!!
Your sister does indeed look winsome in her woolens ;) How sweet that you knit for her and that she’s so appreciative!
The hat is darling, though I could never pull that off myself :) It looks wonderful on her!
