Please don’t tell Knitting that my attention is dividing. Knitting is my cherished delight. I don’t wish to give any manner of offense. I will always love Knitting.
It’s just that I’m becoming seduced by Weaving! And I did something bold. I ordered a loom. I was pretty torn over which one to select. I searched and I read. I watched videos of tablet/card weaving - fascinating. Except acquiring some knowledge about weaving and looms only helped increase my interest in all types of looms!

I came to reason that it didn’t matter overly much, having read that people who love to weave often have more than one loom! I could just start somewhere, anywhere really. I’d pretty much settled on the Schacht Flip, a folding rigid heddle loom. And yet I instead found myself ordering a Navajo mini loom. What I especially like about this loom, never having used one? It’s made by the very person I ordered it from.
For all the dread of tragic drama, my talk with Knitting went amazingly well. It turns out Knitting is sorely in need of a break from my continual goings-on and was only too overjoyed to hear I may be letting up a little.
Now it may be Weaving that feels neglected. I am told my loom is now finished, the oil is drying, and it will be shipped tomorrow. I reckon I’ll have it in November. I did another something bold. November is National Novel Writing Month and I signed up to participate! I don’t know what I’m in for! I simply could not resist. The spirit of the challenge resonates just right with my creative sensibilities.
